Neil Gaiman interviews Gene Wolfe, hilarity ensues

Ok, confession time: I've tried about 5 times to read The Book of the New Sun series by Gene Wolfe (Mozilla users, watch that link, it seems to want to force me to open another app suddenly) - I have the first two books, the Shadow of the Torturer and the Claw of the Conciliator as one volume. Usually, I get about halfway through and then I put the book down and stop reading it. I have no idea why I have problems getting into it (since I can totally appreciate the crafting of the language in the book), but I do. Anyway, this has meant that I haven't read anything else by Wolfe.
I came across the following link on boingboing: Neil Gaiman interviews Gene Wolfe and it's a pretty entertaining read, a good glimpse into the creating of a plausible and fresh fantasy world.
Maybe I'll use my Chapters/Indigo gift card for The Knight instead of waiting until Kushiel's Avatar comes out in paperback.
